Sipsmith Orange & Cacao Overview

The folks at Sipsmith Distillery have done it again, produced a lovely, refreshing gin which encompasses a beautiful array of juniper, liquorish, orange blossom and cacao nibs.

Similar to Sipsmith’s London Dry Gin, this gin utilises juniper as its backbone, although surprisingly this gin contains over 50% more juniper than their London Dry, which ensures the gin maintains its juniper notes without being diluted by the additional ingredients. This Orange & Cacao Gin is aimed towards the more modern gin market goer, in the popular citrus flavour category and certainly makes a strong impression.

It works a treat for those who like a little added sweetness to their serve, with notable tones such as citrusy marmalade and cacao.

Lots of citrus, hints of Cacao, Orange and Floral notes.
Palate:
Citrusy marmalade and orange, followed with floral and dark chocolate hints.

Serving Recommendation

Thanks to its citrusy nature, this gin can accompany an array of delicious servings. We recommend pairing this Gin with a Premium Tonic such as Fever Tree plain Indian Tonic Water, garnished with an Orange wedge. This allows you to take in more of what this gin has to offer without blending the gin down too heavily.
