Bombay Sapphire Launch Ready-To-Drink G&T

Bombay Sapphire Ready To Drink Can

The long-awaited arrival of Bombay Sapphire’s first ready-to-drink in a can has finally arrived with the launch of their pre-mixed gin and tonic, called Bombay Sapphire & Tonic.

The Bacardi-owned brand are following on from their recently launched gin liqueurs which became available early last month. The gift pack named Bombay Creations Gin Liqueurs contains four naturally flavoured 50ml expressions and includes the flavours of Rose, Hibiscus, Strawberry and Raspberry.

Designed with a sleek, matte finish look the Bombay Sapphire & Tonic cans have been created with a special material to protect the liquid from sunlight, keeping it cooler and fresher for longer, whilst also preserving the standard of the serve. With the growing popularity of the G&T they will no doubt be the perfect choice for any outdoor event or picnic as we approach the summer months.

Bombay Sapphire’s Vice President Victoria Morris said: “As a category leader in premium gin, we are frequently asked at Bombay Sapphire when we plan to enter the ready-to-drink category. So, I am delighted to announce our latest addition to our growing portfolio.”

“The development of Bombay Sapphire & Tonic took time for good reason, as we know our consumers expect only the very best from us and we are extremely proud to say that we’ve created a ready-to-drink befitting to the Bombay Sapphire name in terms of taste, quality, craft and ingredients.”

“We look forward to shaking up the ready-to-drink category with an option that our fans will love, and that promises to be unrivalled when it comes to taste.”

Serving recommendation: Bombay Sapphire & Tonic is best served chilled, poured over ice with a wedge of lime.

Last year it was announced that sales in the ready-to-drink market had grown by almost a third from 2018, with spirits and mixers remaining central to the category. The influx of premium products becoming available on the market is changing the demographic profile for today’s ready-to-drink shoppers. From a market once aimed more towards younger shoppers, today’s key shopper is aged 45 and over.

Bombay Sapphire & Tonic (250ml/6.5% ABV) is priced at £2.80 per can and is now available to purchase online from Ocado by clicking here. As from 12th March it will be available in Tesco and then further supermarkets throughout the UK as from the summer.
